Life Groups = small groups
Here at SHBC small groups are called "Life Groups."
This is a time during the week where we share life with one another in a small, intimate setting. It's a place where people love one another, serve one another, bear one another's burdens. We encourage, exhort, pray, and equip.
God never intended for us to live the Christian life alone. How can we apply the "one another's" in Scripture unless we are in intentional, close relationship with each other? God calls us to love, not in an abstract or superficial way, but in a deep, face-to-face, life-on-life, transformative way--which is difficult and inevitably messy. And it happens midweek at SHBC.
